The Ruffled Fan Palm is a highly prized tropical plant known for its striking, nearly circular green leaves that feature deep, distinctive pleats. Native to the warm, humid rainforest understories of Vanuatu, this slow-growing species thrives best when kept in warm temperatures with plenty of ambient moisture. It makes an excellent indoor specimen or patio plant provided it is placed in a spot that receives bright, indirect sunlight throughout the day. To keep it healthy, the palm requires a consistent watering routine and must be potted in a well-draining soil mix to prevent waterlogging and root rot.
